From apparel to food and beverage, cosmetics to mobility, we enable brands to connect their products directly with end users and extract insights at scale. Our infrastructure lets brands track, manage, and understand how their products behave in the real world, enabling new forms of analytics, authentication, storytelling, and post-sale value.
The Role: As a Junior Software Developer at Zirqat, you’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to build and improve the core software platforms that power our NFC-enabled consumer app and brand dashboard.
You’ll contribute to both frontend and backend development.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop new features and improve existing ones across our mobile and web applications
- Build clean, reusable, and well-documented code in React Native, React, and Node.js
- Support integration between the frontend and backend, including APIs and data models
- Help optimize app performance and user experience
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to turn ideas into user-facing features
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for scalable and secure development
- Work with cloud technologies (GCP/AWS) to deploy and maintain applications
Tech Stack You’ll Work With:
- Frontend / Mobile: React Bootstrap, React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Evergreen UI
- Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL (Supabase), serverless APIs
- Infrastructure: GCP / AWS, Docker, Redis (Upstash)
- Security: OAuth, JWT, Role-Based Access Control
What We’re Looking For:
- 0–2 years of experience in web or mobile development (internships or projects count!)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Some experience with React, React Native, and Node.js
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Curiosity about cloud technologies (AWS / GCP) and CI/CD workflows
- Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a fast-paced startup
- Team player with strong communication skills (English level B2 or higher)
Bonus
- Experience with Supabase or similar BaaS platforms
- Familiarity with mobile development patterns in React Native
- Interest in blockchain or NFC technologies
- Understanding of app security and authentication principles
