DevOps Engineer – Text Recognition Application
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the operation and further development of our text-recognition solution. This role combines administrative and technical responsibilities, focusing on ensuring smooth operations, monitoring system performance and implementing improvements to optimize application reliability and accuracy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Set up, debug, and deploy applications as a cloud service.
- Maintain and monitor the text-recognition application, including configuration of verification rules for the exception-handling GUI
- Create and adjust Document intelligence models in Microsoft Azure
- Configure and adjust rule workflows when needed to ensure correct processing and routing of recognized text.
- Keep all Documentation on current status
- Ensure Operation by supporting Incident-, Problem- and Changemanagement processes
- Continuously improve Monitoring and Alarming Capabilities of the Application
- Support the solving of Service Desk Tickets from our internal customers
- Further develop and optimize simple rules in Python to improve application output quality.
- Deploy and manage use cases through GitLab pipelines.
- Integrate services to enhance application functionality and improve API management.
- Perform administrative activities such as user management and technical activities such as network configuration, IaC deployment and service monitoring.
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud operations (endpoints, DNS, firewalls, subnets, etc.).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows, preferably with GitLab CI.
- Good Python programming skills for rule development and automation scripting.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Familiarity with API gateways and integrations.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process automation
